My name is Haling Perdomo-Mihalek, and I serve as the Liturgical Events Coordinator at St. Patrick Catholic Church. It is truly a blessing to be part of such a beautiful and faith-filled community.

My journey of faith was deeply transformed through a powerful encounter with Jesus during Eucharistic Adoration at a retreat with the Jornada de Vida Cristiana Youth Movement. It was during that experience that I fell deeply in love with the Lord and felt a calling to serve Him and His Church in a more meaningful way.

For more than fifteen years, I was actively involved with the Jornada Movement, dedicating much of my time to evangelizing and accompanying young people in their faith. I also had the privilege of serving Hispanic communities in several parishes throughout the Diocese of Brooklyn and Queens, New York. These experiences strengthened my love for the Catholic faith and my desire to help others encounter Christ in their own lives.

I hold a degree in International Studies with a minor in Culture and Communication from The City College of New York. Along with my educational background, I bring a lifelong commitment to my Catholic faith and a deep love for serving God’s people.

I believe that God lovingly invites each and every one of us into a personal encounter and relationship with Him. One of my greatest joys is having the opportunity to accompany others along their journey of faith and, in some small way, help them experience the love, grace, and presence of Christ in their lives.

Mi nombre es Haling Perdomo-Mihalek y soy la Coordinadora de Eventos Litúrgicos en la Iglesia Católica de San Patricio. Es una verdadera bendición formar parte de una comunidad tan hermosa y llena de fe. Mi camino de fe se transformó profundamente a través de un poderoso encuentro con Jesús durante la Adoración Eucarística en un retiro con el Movimiento Juvenil Jornadas de Vida Cristiana. Fue durante esa experiencia que me enamoré profundamente del Señor y sentí el llamado a servirle a Él y a su Iglesia de una manera más significativa.
