Father Juan was born in Bogota, Colombia. He joined the Neocatechumenal Way in 2009 and a year later he began his discernment to the priesthood. After two years, he was sent by lot to Redemptoris Mater Seminary in Dallas. After eleven years of formation, he was ordained to the Priesthood May 20, 2023. During his pastoral year, he served in Saint Pius X Catholic Church. He enjoys playing soccer and reading.
