Greetings, St. Patrick Parish!

I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Krista Hayes, and I serve as a Spiritual Director, life coach, and healing companion with a deep love for God and for accompanying people as they grow closer to Him.

I am married to my husband and best friend, Kris. We have been together for 24 years and have been friends since we were 14 years old! Together we have two beautiful adult children, wonderful sons-in-law, and the most perfect grandson. Family, faith, and the many people who have accompanied me in Christ throughout my own journey have deeply shaped my heart and the way I walk with others.

My spirituality is deeply rooted in the imagery of the Bride in the Song of Songs, where I have learned personally to receive the love of God and to help others recognize His presence and invitation within their own lives.

I have a deep love for young adults, vocational discernment, and helping people develop a daily life of prayer and deeper intimacy with the Lord. I accompany those navigating difficult seasons of life, including struggles with attachment to sin, distraction, transitional seasons, suffering, or simply feeling disconnected from meaning, purpose, and their identity rooted in God. My desire is to gently help people return to the truth of who they are and to the places where the Lord is inviting healing, surrender, freedom, and deeper intimacy with Him.

I’ve had the blessing of serving alongside clergy and diocesan leadership in various capacities, including accompanying the Bishop, Vocations Director, and young adults from the Diocese of Cheyenne to World Youth Day and the pilgrimage that followed. I also currently serve with FOCUS.org as a Spiritual Director for missionary retreatants.

My formation includes training in Spiritual Direction in the tradition of our great Saints, along with continued formation in accompaniment and inner healing through prayer. Much of my education and formation has been centered in Carmelite and Teresian spirituality, along with Ignatian, Franciscan, Thomistic, and Augustinian spirituality. My hope is to create a space where people feel seen, heard, encouraged, and invited into a deeper relationship with the Lord.

I feel truly honored to be given the opportunity to join your parish community. I am beyond grateful and delighted to meet you and accompany you in whatever season the Lord has you in. Please know of my prayers for you.

Your sister in Christ,

Krista Hayes
