Early in October, Hurricane Matthew devastated significant parts of the Southeast coast of the United States and some countries in the Caribbean, especially Haiti. While many have begun to assist, we realize that the road to restoration will be long and additional support will be needed.
St. Patrick Catholic Church
will take up a second collection this weekend for the people and the Church impacted by Hurricane Matthew. These funds will be used to support the efforts of
Catholic Relief Services
Catholic Charities USA
as they reach out to provide humanitarian aid in the form of water, food, shelter, and medical care, as well as to their long term efforts to restore communities after widespread destruction, and to the
United States Conference of Catholic Bishops
for the pastoral and reconstruction needs of the Church in the Caribbean and the US. Thank you for your generous support. It will be a LONG recovery for the victims and it is especially tough as they enter the holiday season.
