SPECIAL COLLECTION THIS WEEKEND (JAN. 2/3).
We received the following from Bishop Farrell today:
"The historic storms that spawned at least nine tornadoes in North Texas have resulted in 11 deaths and damage expected to top $1billion. Countless families have lost everything; homes, cars, furniture, family mementos. Young and old are in need of assistance."
"In light of this tremendous need to provide immediate humanitarian aid, I am asking that all parishes in the Diocese of Dallas take up a Second Collection at all Masses this weekend, January 2-3, 2016. ... I will then ask Catholic Charities and St. Vincent de Paul to use the money to offer assistance to those impacted by these devastating storms."
Please continue to pray for those affected by the storms. If you wish to give by check, please include in the memo field that it is for "Storm Victims".
Thank you and God Bless!
