All Saints and All Souls Community Celebration

Come join us as we celebrate the Catholic All-Hallowtide,
a triduum of All Hallow’s Eve, October 31st, the All Saints Day, November 1st, and All Souls Day, November 2nd.

Celebrated differently around the world, All-Hallowtide is the Catholic Churches celebration of life, death, and the afterlife. Collectively, these days emphasize the Communion of Saints, a tenet that unites the faithful on earth, the saints in heaven, and the souls in purgatory, binding them in prayer, reflection, and remembrance.

Modern secular celebrations of Halloween, from Irish and Scottish immigrants, and Dia de los Muertos, from Mexico, find their roots in the celebration of this special time of the Church’s Liturgical Calendar.

Join us November 1st, starting at 5PM with mass, as we celebrate as a church Community!

Saint Costumes

Children our encouraged to dress up as their favorite saint or biblical character for mass and our following Trunk or Treat in the GYM.

Costume of Saints are encouraged; princess and superheroes are welcome!

Groups should avoid gory, intense images, innuendos, demonic or satanic references stereotypical with secular Halloween traditions.

Memorial for
our Faithfully Departed

All Souls Day is a time where Catholics pray for the souls of our faithfully departed as they journey through purgatory to Heaven.

  • Starting Thursday, October 30th, at the 5PM confessions, we will have our Memorial Display in the Church Sanctuary.
  • You will be able to place a photo or display the name of your loved one.
  • Follow the instructions at the memorial.

You can pick up photos any time from the Narthex starting Monday, November 3rd through Thursday, November 6th, and then from the church office.

All Saints Trunk or Treat

Our community groups will be passing out candy to your little ‘saints’ or other costumed children.

WHEN: After 5PM mass from about 6PM to 8PM

Trunk or Treat Sign Up

Information:

  • Any parish group, family or combination thereof can host a spot.
  • Set up begins at 4PM. Stations must be set up before 6PM.
  • Provide candy or treats to children. You can include a game for kids to play (for fun), but the Trunk or Treat is a free event.
  • Keep decorations, costumes and themes family friendly.
  • Groups should avoid gory, intense images, innuendos, demonic or satanic references stereotypical with Halloween.
  • Someone from your group must be present at all times. Spots should not be left unattended.

All ‘Seoul’ Chili Cook-Off

Support our World Youth Day pilgrims by participating in this years’ Chili Cookoff.

All proceeds support the 2027 World Youth Day Seoul group from St Patrick.

All ‘Seoul’ Chili Cook Off

Information:

  • Entry Fee: $35 per chili entry (due on day of competition)
  • Deadline to Register: Entries will be accepted up to the time of the event at 6pm on Saturday November 1st. 
  • Special considerations:
    • Contestants may enter as an individual or as a team. Teams may consist of no more than 3 people 
    • Additional entries may be submitted for an additional $35 registration fee per chili recipe entered. 
    • Additional entries can be the same or different category ; however the recipe must be noticeably different. It is recommended that any additional entry is for the other category. (Traditional Red Chili or Homestyle Chili)
