Council of Catholic Women (Altar Society)

Bereavement Luncheon Ministry
The Bereavement Luncheon Ministry prepares and serves the meal for the family who has just lost a loved one. This ministry would consist of groups of people who can help prepare the main food or dessert or salad, serve at the luncheon, or help clean up. You could even help out by donating funds to the Bereavement Luncheon Ministry Fund.
There are many ways you can help; please consider signing up!

We want to have several groups, so that the Groups can rotate each time they are needed.
Donut Ministry
This ministry promotes fellowship for parishioners on Sunday mornings by providing fresh coffee and donuts after the 8:00 & 10:00 a.m. Masses. We need parishioners to help serve donuts and coffee. You also can sponsor the cost of the coffee and donuts.

Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist
They minister at the Altar and they also bring Christ to the sick in hospitals, nursing homes, and homes. Come join in being an instrument of God in His service.

Gardening Angels Group
This ministry tends our gardens. If you like to get your hands in the soil or prun flowers, come join the fun and fellowship while making our church colorful. Watch the bulletin for work days.

Homebound Ministry
If you are interested in providing transportation to Mass and/or other activities and providing companionship to the homebound of our parish, please contact Jenifer Gehrki at 214-553-1988.

Music
“Those who sing, pray twice”
You don’t even have to sing to be a part of this ministry. You can ring a bell or two or play other instruments.
