1.     If you clean in pairs, decide when you will clean with your partner.

2.     Pick up the cleaning closet key before the church office closes at 4:00pm on Friday.  Clean Friday afternoon or Saturday morning.  Check with the church office to see if a funeral or wedding is scheduled.  Do not worry about Adoration - the altar cleaning is part of God’s work.  Drop the key in the office mail slot when finished if the office is closed.

3.     The cleaning closet is located in Fr. Alan's confessional.

4.     Our primary duty is to dust the altar and the sacristy.

• Dust the chairs, tables, floral pedestals, podium, baptismal font, flag stands with Pledge Wipes or plain dry dusting cloths.
• Dust the statues with the long handled duster.
• Dust the shelves in the sacristy.

5.     Our main responsibility is the altar.  We do not water the plants, clean the bride’s room, or clean restrooms. If you notice that something is out of place or needs attention (bathrooms, plants, vestibule, etc.), please notify the church office. 

6.     Literature:  Do not disturb any literature displayed in the vestibule of the church.  Do not put our new church bulletins on the vestibule tables - they are given out only by the ushers.  (Do dispose of out-of-date bulletins.)

7.     The only cleaning supplies we use are the Pledge Wipes and dry cloths.  You may find an assortment of other cleaning products in the closet - we currently do not use those products.

8.     If the supply of Pledge Wipes, plain or dry dusting cloths is running low, call Beth Moffett at 214-553-9900.
