Common Questions about Making a Gift or Pledge

Who do I make the check out to?  Make checks payable to St. Patrick Catholic Church, and put “Renewal Campaign” on the memo line.  This ensures that we credit your gift to the campaign account.

Where can I obtain a pledge form?  Pledge forms were enclosed in the campaign flyer, which you will find on the table in the main entrance of the church, along with return envelopes.  You may also complete and email your pledge form by clicking HERE.

Will you send pledge reminders?  That’s up to you.  If you wish to receive reminders, check the appropriate box near the bottom of the pledge form.

Will there be a Renewal Envelope in my packet of envelopes?  Yes, beginning in October you will find an envelope with the Renewal logo.  When making pledge payments we encourage you to use this special envelope to ensure your gift is properly credited.

Do you take credit cards or direct deposit?  We do not currently accept credit cards or Electronic Funds Transfer.

I don’t like to pledge.  Can I just make a one-time gift?  Yes.  How you choose to give is up to you.  The issue is not the payment plan you choose, but the degree to which your decision is rooted in prayer.  Parishioners are simply asked to listen to the promptings of the Holy Spirit.

What happens if I can’t fulfill my pledge?  We understand that current economic circumstances create some uncertainty.  The parish views your pledge as a good-faith agreement between you and the Church.  If circumstances require you to make changes to your pledge in the future, all you need to do is notify the pastor in writing with a simple note. 

Is my gift tax-deductible?  Gifts to St. Patrick Catholic Church are tax-deductible as provided by law.  For your unique circumstances, check with your advisors.
